TEARS DRY ON THEIR OWN

 https://c1.staticflickr.com/1/211/506458694_9f9bd89b54.jpg

Last Night I Cried,
I Sat & I Thought about all the lies.
Asking Myself Why?
I Loved you,
but u took it upon yourself to do me wrong.
I thought we kan talk about any & everything,
we're both grown.
Yes I'm hurted but not for long because 1 thing dat i know is Tears Dry On Their Own.
I played my part,
guess dat wasn't enough,
yea we had hard times,
but u ran off when shit got rough.
U know Im good now,
Im pickin up da pieces & moving on
bc 1 thing my mama taught me Is
tears Dry On Their Own. L.O.Y.A.L.
dats wat I was 2 u,
So Since U betrayed me,
its time I f--k over you.

All
da signs was there too blind to figure them out,

so I went left & didn't care wat people were gossiping about.
 I was bout
wat u was bout,

dats wasnt good enough 4 u so u chose to take another route.
Jus know u were da 1 who walked out,
Im Gucci No doubt.
Yea 4 a minute u had my mind blown,
lettin yo shit ring,
not answering yo phone.
C'mon my nig-a we suppose to be grown
shit is small 2 me f--k you,
Im in my own zone,
Not to mention I've moved on.
Because @ 1 point
this man name Hannibal always told me Tears Dry On their own.
I might cry but not 4 long..........
Not For Long...............................And Their Gone!!!
No More Crying.

REVOLUTION BABY

  http://prokurativa.files.wordpress.com/2013/06/580432_10151633957789339_1965242121_n1.jpg
Am from the backseats of mean streets
I got my eye aiming the Wall Street
They said education is the key
I wonder why they made it expensive for we,
Am sitting around hood rats,
Gangsters and Ex- prisoners
Sniffing, snatching, stuffing stuff
Mama expects a lawyer, a doctor, a mayor,
Newsflash!
We are in the middle of a crisis
Am the original copy of a son-of-a-gun
I define the odds
I believe to break a law,
Is to make a road
You go east or west,
Home is still the best
But with a bullet in your chest
Don’t mess with these streets
They will give you a free ride to hell
Pot and crack do rounds all over,
It’s a mess,
I am needed, you are needed,
We are needy
Damn!
We are in a man eat man generation
You either survive or succumb
There’s a billion ways to die,
Choose one,
It’s time for a change,
Change of perspectives,
Change of attitude,
Change of behavior
Let’s get out of our comfort zone,
Coz that’s what’s drowning us,
We need a change
Change for the better
It’s revolution time!!

BELIEVE

Mama taught me that life is a garden
Full of opportunities,
It is our approach towards it that
Makes the difference,
We live and learn through mistakes,
Opportunities don’t come to us,
We create them,
Zeal, perseverance and passion,
Is all we need.

Love is vital,
Failing is not final,
Get up,
Dust away the dirt,
Face ahead and believe,
You can make it anywhere,
There’s hoping and wishing,
Make something happen,
That’s enough assurance,
That you succeeded.

Put God first,
He solves mysteries,
Your rock problem,
Is a pebble solution,
Pray until something happens,
He will turn that stumbling block,
Into a stepping stone,
Everything is possible,
If you believe,
You made it up to here,
You can make it anywhere,
Believe!

Crazy

 http://images2.fanpop.com/image/photos/9900000/some-crazy-art-luv_rob_4ever-9940527-500-330.jpg

Is it still considered crazy if you are fully aware that you are crazy?

no. right? maybe.
what if i recognized my own tendencies
and did nothing, to fight them off.

Sometimes I go eighteen hours without food.
It’s the only way to punish myself for not being productive
because the thought of weighing any less than I do now
terrifies me.
It’s important to be productive.
because, you have to be productive.
You can’t just keep repeating the same mental patterns
getting trapped in cycles of consumerism
and acquisition of perishable moments
You have to be productive
Life is to precious to be wasted away
they say
I know but still
sometimes I waste away
sometimes I waste away

4am pirouetting on my kitchen floor
an hour or two sitting in front of a mirror
and sometimes more
walking from dining room to kitchen
to living room to kitchen to dining room to kitchen
I’d call it depression, only I smile too much.

When you lose control of the steering wheel
who takes it?
Because if control is something that’s tangible
when you lose it, someone else must gain it.
So when your driving down the parkway
doing eighty-nine, creeping on ninety,
windows down
and rain darting in
and on your face is an unbearable grin
and you let go, of all control,
who takes it?

Is it, the grip of your tires against the pavement?
Is it, the wind? Is it, the driver in the other lane?
Is it, a baby bottle, dropped from a stroller and returned to a mother
or my inability to sit down and read through the bible
is it the man who shot to feed his kids
or the color of the dead man’s bleeding lips?
Does it get dispersed, divided evenly among all of these things?
Who takes it?

Maybe if I knew,
I’d stop doing pirouettes on my kitchen floor at four AM
spotting the window
spinning round and round again,
just waiting,
to see who’s face, if anyone’s, I’ll see looking in.

That Man is Mine

http://capturemee.files.wordpress.com/2012/10/lady-gaga-pop-art.jpg

Girl, I know you
heard the words he's
been sayin'
I know he ain't
honest, but I know
he ain't strayin'

His eyes may wander
a bit in your
direction,
But girl ya gotta
know he gives me his
attention,

He's just a flirt,
ya I made him that
way,
Uhoh girl, too much
of that, I don't
play.

I'll be on you,
giving you careful
inspection,
Making sure you
ain't begging for
affection.

You know what I'm
sayin' my claws are
comin'
Hear the scratching,
you better start
runnin'

I ain't messin' with
a two bit eyes
crossed *ore,
Back off before I
toss your behind out
that door.

That man is mine,
paid for with my
sweat and tears,
A few bats of your
blue eyes won't bust
up years.

Girl your messing
with the wrong kind
of flame,
You're gonna get
burned, this ain't
no game.

Don't be lookin'
surprise, be lookin'
over your shoulder,
You may be a young
thang, but my skills
are older.

I'm gonna wipe that
smirk off your
pretty lil' face,
I'll be hittin' it
so hard, they ain't
gonna be a trace.

Turn away now little
girl, and watch your
behind,
Step up or step
back, cause that
man, he's mine!

ReVoLuTiOn

 http://www.popularresistance.org/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/Revolution-ReLOVEution.jpg
Spooky summer on the horizon I’m gazing at
from my window into the streets
That’s where it’s going to be where everyone is
walking around, looking around out in the open
suspecting each others heart to open fire
all over the streets
like streets you read about every day
who are the network we travel through on the way to the center
which is energy filling life
and bursting with joy all over the screen
I can’t sit still any longer!

I want to go where I’m not feeling so bad
Get off this little island before the bridges break
(my heart is a sore thing too)
No I want to sit in the middle watching movies
then go to bed in my head
Someone is banging on it with a heavy stick like the enemy
who is he going to be turns into a face you can’t recognize
then vanishes behind a window behind a gun
Like the lonely hero stalking the main street
cries out Where are you? I just want to know
all the angles of death possible under the American sky!

I can hardly see for all the buildings polluting the sky
until it changes into a barrage of bottles
then clears up for a second while you breathe
and you realize you’e still as alive as ever and want to be
but would like to be somewhere else perhaps Africa
Start all over again as the race gets darker and darker
and the world goes on the way I always thought it would
For the winner is someone we recognize out of our collective past
which is turning over again in the grave
It is so important when one dies you replace her
and never waste a minute.
